The Halloween Party is coming up soon! We are calling all volunteers, parents and teachers, to help with decorating, games, and donating cakes for the cakewalk. Please contact Shasta at 815-993-3047 or Kate Reed at 815-830-2061 to let us know how you want to help. The more helpers we get the more we can all have fun with the kids!
Cakes, cookies, deserts can be dropped off at the school on Thursday during the school day, Friday morning during setup from 9-11am or bring it them before the party. Smaller containers are appreciated so there are more winners. Feel free to ask any questions.

The Village of Grand Ridge is applying for a grant that would include Safe Routes to School, and we are working in partnership with them to achieve the goal of ensuring safe sidewalks and crosswalks to and from school.

A message from Nurse Krohe......Parents, please look for the Orland Park dental screening form coming home with your child this week. This dental service counts towards the state dental exam requirement for grades K, 2, and 6. Orland Park will visit our school later in the year. It is a free service provided to all GRGS students. Please sign and return the form as soon as possible to get on their list.
Baseball & Softball: All games on Monday 8-21, Tuesday 8-22, Wednesday 8-23, Thursday 8-24 have been cancelled. An updated schedule will be sent out after all changes have been made with the other Districts.
